Current Status of ConnectUO |

I know alot of you have downloaded the latest link I've posted and I'm only guessing ALL of you are having issues. The reason ConnectUO is crashing at startup is due to the software written to produce the serverlist is an older version then it was prior to the crash of the website. Due to this, the data contained in the server list is missing some fields, and contains some invalid data. Connect UO is expecting things that simply aren't there and in turn causing it to crash(in addition, all patching information is missing, which is why patching is not working, obviously). I've looked into this issue and fixing it on the client side is a huge hassle, especially since it means removing a ton of stuff, re-testing, and then when its fixed on this side....putting it all back. I simply do not have the time to do all this, nor does anyone else here at RunUO. Now, with this said, don't think we aren't doing something about it. Sorry for the lack of updates, things are crazy in my life at the moment, works busy, I'm buying a house, competing in Microsoft's Dream Build Play Competition, etc. Because of this my time is limited and my interest in UO has diminished significantly.
Today I sat down here at work with a small amount of time and took a look at the project for connectuo. I was going to recompile everything and release it, but I realized the installer is broken for some odd reason and don't have time to fix it. However I did want to get something to those of you that do not have a installable version of connectuo to use(yes i know the link is broken). Currently I do no have access to this site as far as uploading things goes, Zippy did give me access, but its been so long I've forgotten my credentials.... This version of CUOD that I'm linking to does have a few fixes for small bugs that I had fixed ages ago, but as to what they are, I have no idea. Over the next couple of months... [Read More]

As you can see, ConnectUO.com has returned.
We are still working on getting all of the content (specifically, the shard list and images) back online. Please bare with us.
